Steamboat Signature Event ~ 4th of July Celebration

The Fourth of July in Steamboat is more than a celebration of national pride; it’s an opportunity to honor the Yampa Valley’s rich western heritage with fun for all.

Events like the Ski Jumping Extravaganza, hometown parade, and the largest Pro Rodeo event of the summer, have visitors proclaiming independence at this 100+ year-old event.

First Friday Artwalk

Free self-guided tour of local art galleries, museums and alternative venues in downtown Steamboat Springs.

These businesses remain open the first Friday of every month for this favorite event of locals and visitors alike. Many offer changing exhibits, so there is something new to see each month. Free to the public, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Refreshments are served.

Reds Whites and Brews

In the gorgeous setting of downtown Steamboat Springs, Reds, Whites & Brews in the Boat is the ideal event to kick off your summer in the CO mountains! This event features amazing unlimited wine & craft beer tastings, LIVE music, vendors, food and more!

Steamboat Resort Open for Summer

Steamboat Resort will be open on June 18th for the summer season!

Head up to the mountain where you’ll find summer adventure for the whole family in The Land Up. You can scream down the Outlaw mountain coaster, test your skills on the Maverick Mini Golf Course, take a scenic chairlift ride, hike among wildflowers or explore the mountain on cross country bike trails.

4th of July Pro Rodeo

Under the lights at the Brent Romick Arena, clouds of dirt and cries of victory tell the gripping story of the West with a time-honored and award-winning Steamboat tradition.

The Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series takes place every Friday and Saturday night with special performances July 1-4 in Downtown Steamboat Springs. Show starts at 6:30 p.m. 

Pro Rodeo Series

Under the lights at the Brent Romick Arena, clouds of dirt and cries of victory tell the gripping story of the West with a time-honored and award-winning Steamboat tradition.

The Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series takes place every Friday and Saturday night with special performances July 1-4 in Downtown Steamboat Springs. Shows begin at 7:30 p.m except for the July 4 show which starts at 6:30 p.m.  Pre-Rodeo entertainment appears on the entertainment stage from 6:00 p.m. until 7:15 p.m.

Farmers Market

The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market is located along the scenic Yampa River Yampa Street between 6th and 8th Streets. Held on Saturdays from June 5 to September 18, the official hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. but if you are out riding your bike or getting in a quick run before the day’s events, you can usually pick up a cup of coffee, pastry or even a breakfast burrito before the crowds arrive.

Steamboat Signature Event ~ Art in the Park

Just minutes away, another colorful scene awaits at Art in the Park, where arts and crafts, performances, and an interactive children’s area will fill your day. Art in the Park is free to the public and features nearly 150 artist vendors, live entertainment, food vendors, and an interactive children’s art area. Capacity will be limited to 500 attendees at a time this year.
